Born and raised on the rainy side of Washington state I made a blind jump to Montana nearly two decades ago where I've continued my childhood love of photography. My stoke for the mountains and sharing my passion with others led me to work as a mountain guide all over the world for over a decade.

I like chasing the light and the bad weather.

I've have now been shooting photos and video full time for over 5 years. Something I am pretty stoked for and forever grateful. It hasn't been an easy journey. But worth it.  I am blessed to have experienced so much of the world; mountain adventures and cultures from the Republic of Georgia to South America. My favorite part of traveling and shooting is seeing the love in so many different cultures. I want my work to inspire others.

I lives in Bozeman, Montana with my wife, Anne Gilbert. I like spending time attempting to rock climb, ice climb and go skiing without my camera. Still working on it. If I couldn't be a photographer I'd be an Artisan bread maker.
