Process

Clear thinking. Simple execution.

Every commercial photography and video project begins with strategy.

My production process is designed to eliminate confusion, improve efficiency, and create visual assets that support real business goals across websites, advertising campaigns, social media, and long-term marketing systems.

Based in Bozeman, Montana, I work with outdoor brands, tourism companies, hospitality businesses, and purpose-driven organizations that value thoughtful planning and authentic storytelling.

Step 1 — Align

Every project starts with a short conversation.

We talk through goals, audience, scope, timelines, and where the work will actually live — website, campaign, social, or beyond.

This step ensures we’re solving the right problem before anything gets produced.

Step 2 — Plan

Once aligned, I build a production plan.

This includes creative direction, a detailed shot list, and a clear roadmap for how everything will be captured and delivered. Nothing is left to chance.

Good planning makes production calmer, faster, and more effective.

Step 3 — Produce

Production is where the plan comes to life.

Whether in the field or on location, I work efficiently and adapt as needed — keeping things organized, respectful of your team’s time, and focused on getting what we actually need.

No chaos. No rushing. No guessing.

Step 4 — Deliver

After the shoot, you receive a curated set of images and video — edited, refined, and ready to use.

For larger projects, revisions are built into the process so the final work reflects both the creative vision and real-world needs.

What this process avoids

Unclear expectations

Last-minute scrambling

Overproduction

Guesswork in editing

Content that looks good but doesn’t get used

A simple process protects the work — and your time.

Built for long-term use

The goal isn’t just to finish a project.

It’s to create visual assets that can be used across campaigns, websites, social channels, and future marketing — without needing to start from scratch every time.

Good process leads to better, longer-lasting work.
